Installation Scenario
At the site, the customer invested ₹10-12 lakhs in digging a borewell to ensure a reliable water source. However, the borewell water was found to contain an alarmingly high 48 ppm of iron, making it unfit for use. Many water filtration companies hesitated to take up the challenge due to the extreme iron concentration. Jobin from Anivi Water Treatment stepped forward and confidently designed a customized filtration system using DMI-65 media. The results were outstanding, with iron levels reduced to 0.08 ppm, and the water was rendered crystal clear, exceeding all expectations.

Results & Efficiency
The DMI-65 media effectively reduced iron levels from 48 mg/L to 0.08 mg/L, achieving a 99.83% removal efficiency. This demonstrates the media’s superior performance in oxidizing and filtering dissolved iron, rendering the water fit for consumption and industrial usage. Additionally:
- Turbidity reduced from 51.40 NTU to 0.2 NTU, improving clarity.
- The treated water met the BIS permissible limit for iron content (<0.3 mg/L).
