La qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019eau du puits a n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 l\u2019ajout de deux unit\u00e9s d\u2019osmose inverse (RO) de 300 gpm comme pr\u00e9traitement pour les d\u00e9min\u00e9raliseurs d\u2019\u00e9change d\u2019ions. Toutefois, la conception originale de l\u2019eau de puits n\u2019incluait pas de mesures pour traiter le fer dans l\u2019eau. Le fer contenu dans l\u2019approvisionnement en eau du puits a entra\u00een\u00e9 une encrassement des \u00e9l\u00e9ments de filtre de cartouche et des membranes d\u2019osmose inverse (RO).<\/p>\n<p>Au d\u00e9but de l\u2019op\u00e9ration RO en 2004, on a not\u00e9 un d\u00e9bit d\u2019eau de puits inf\u00e9rieur aux pr\u00e9visions. En cons\u00e9quence, les deux tableaux ro originaux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9r\u00e9gr\u00e9s de 9:5 \u00e0 8:4 tableaux avec flux de produit r\u00e9duit de 300gpm \u00e0 250 gpm. Le fonctionnement de RO a souvent \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9 avec une seule unit\u00e9 en service afin de abaisser le taux d\u2019encrassement du fer (enl\u00e8vement du fer) et d\u2019augmenter l\u2019intervalle de nettoyage de la membrane. Pendant ces p\u00e9riodes, l\u2019approvisionnement en puits du meilleur puits s\u2019est d\u00e9vers\u00e9 vers l\u2019unit\u00e9 en service avec la possibilit\u00e9 de passer \u00e0 l\u2019unit\u00e9 de veille lorsque le rendement a chut\u00e9. Les nettoyages chimiques pour chaque RO ont \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9s une fois par mois avec le nettoyage apr\u00e8s la restauration de l\u2019unit\u00e9 de retour \u00e0 la ligne de base.<\/p>\n<p>Une \u00e9tude sur l\u2019eau de puits a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e en d\u00e9cembre 2004 et il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9termin\u00e9 que des filtres multim\u00e9dias, des ajouts continus de filtres, de chlore et d\u2019aide au filtre \u00e9taient n\u00e9cessaires pour l\u2019enl\u00e8vement du fer ainsi que la r\u00e9duction de l\u2019IDS (indice de densit\u00e9 de limon) de l\u2019approvisionnement en eau du puits. Le pr\u00e9traitement a \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9 au d\u00e9but de 2006 sur la base des r\u00e9sultats de l\u2019\u00e9tude sur l\u2019eau des puits. Le syst\u00e8me comprenait l\u2019injection chimique de chlore pour l\u2019oxydation du fer, l\u2019aide au filtre pour accumuler des particules de fer pour l\u2019enl\u00e8vement par des filtres multim\u00e9dias et un r\u00e9servoir de stockage de filtrate pour permettre un d\u00e9bit constant d\u2019eau RO et pour le retour de retour au service post-filtre. Apr\u00e8s le r\u00e9servoir de filtrate, l\u2019eau filtr\u00e9e a du bisulfite de sodium et de l\u2019antiscalant ajout\u00e9 pour l\u2019\u00e9limination du chlore r\u00e9siduel et pour
